SilkWallet Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of SilkWallet by Silky Apple Technologies. By downloading, accessing, or using SilkWallet, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

2. What SilkWallet Does

SilkWallet helps you track personal and family finances, including transactions, budgets, goals, loans, accounts, payment methods, reminders, attachments, reports, exports, and shared workspaces.

3. Your Responsibility & Data Ownership

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, the people you invite, your device security, your Google account security, and your backups. SilkWallet is local-first and uses your own device plus authorized cloud services for storage, sync, sharing, exports, and reminders.

4. Third-Party And Cloud Services

SilkWallet integrates with Google Sign-In, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Realtime Database, and, when configured for a workspace, Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects. Optional purchase, entitlement, or rewarded access features may use Google Play billing, Google Mobile Ads, or related app-store and advertising services. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and privacy policies. These services may be unavailable, changed, rate-limited, interrupted, or discontinued outside our control.

5. Family And Shared Workspaces

If you create or join a shared workspace, workspace members may access app data according to their role and the sharing choices made by the workspace owner or admin. Only invite people you trust, and verify invite email addresses before granting access. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for removing members who should no longer have access. Data entered into a shared workspace may remain visible to other authorized members until the owner or admin removes it or deletes the workspace.

6. Account And Data Deletion

You can delete your SilkWallet profile and associated local or personal cloud data from Profile > Account actions > Delete profile. Deleting a profile can remove local data, personal SilkWallet Drive files, SilkWallet Sheets data, optional SilkWallet Calendar reminders, owned workspace data where supported, and your membership from shared workspaces. Shared workspaces owned by another user may remain under that owner or admin. For help after uninstalling the app, review the Account and Data Deletion page or contact support@silkyapple.com.

7. Premium, Rewarded, And Promotional Access

If premium, rewarded, or promotional access is enabled for your app version or region, some features may require an app-store purchase, subscription, rewarded action, trial, or promotional entitlement. Prices, taxes, renewal terms, cancellation rules, refunds, and availability are handled by the applicable app store, ad provider, or payment provider unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Feature availability and eligibility may change over time.

8. No Financial, Legal, Or Tax Advice

SilkWallet is not a bank, lender, investment adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, or accounting firm. App calculations, charts, projections, budgets, reminders, and summaries are for personal information only. You are responsible for decisions you make using the app.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse SilkWallet, bypass security controls, access another person's data without permission, upload unlawful content, interfere with sync services, or use the app in a way that violates laws, third-party rights, Google API Services policies, or app-store rules.

10. Attachments And Exports

You are responsible for files, receipts, notes, reports, and exports you create or share. Do not attach or share content unless you have the right to use it.

11. Availability And Changes

SilkWallet may change over time. Features may be added, modified, paused, or removed to improve reliability, security, compliance, or user experience.

12. Warranty And Liability

SilkWallet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Silky Apple Technologies and the developers of SilkWallet are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, including lost profits, lost data, data corruption, device failure, cloud service outage, or sync interruption.
